Overview
Mary Alice Carfi has been practicing law since 2012. She graduated Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University in 1999. She earned her law degree from the Nashville School of Law in December 2011, where she received the Moot Court Award in her graduating year.
Mary Alice grew up on a farm in Smith County, Tennessee. That experience fostered a love of animals and motivated her work with animal rescue organizations. She currently lives in Wilson County with her husband and daughter.
Areas of Law
Mary Alice has focused her practice on family law, business law, wills and probate, landlord/tenant law, general civil litigation, and is a Rule 31 Mediator, handling Mediation. In her practice, she handles divorce, custody, alimony, child support, grandparent visitation, parental relocation, adoption, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, estate planning, probate, and business formation.
Memberships
Mary Alice is active in her church where she sings in the choir, serves as the Chair of the Trustee Committee, and currently serves as the Chair of the Staff/Parish Relations Committee. She also enjoys singing with the Bert Coble Singers, serving on their Advisory Board, and raising money for local charities.

She practices throughout the Middle Tennessee area and handles cases involving family law, business law, wills and probate, landlord/tenant law, and general civil litigation.
As a Rule 31 listed mediator, she is passionate about helping people resolve their disputes outside of the courtroom.
