Overview

Amanda Crowell has been a practicing attorney since 1993.  She graduated in 1989 with high honors from the University of Tennessee where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  She earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1992.

Amanda began her career as Assistant General Counsel for the State of Tennessee where she prosecuted health care professionals before their respective licensing boards.

Amanda has been in private practice in Lebanon, Tennessee since 1998, formerly with the law firm of Lee & Lee Attorneys, P.C.  She practices primarily in the area of family law, representing clients in divorce, custody, paternity, child support, alimony, grandparent visitation, parental relocation, and adoption matters.

Amanda also practices in the areas of wills, trusts and estate planning.

Amanda handles family law appellate work for the entire middle Tennessee region.  She was attorney for the prevailing party in the reported case, Keisling v. Keisling, 92 S.W.3d 374 (2005) which established controlling legal authority in a post- divorce custody matter.

Memberships

Amanda is a member of the 15th Judicial Bar Association, the Lebanon Noon Rotary Club, and the Margaret Gaston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and is a graduate of Leadership Wilson.

Her husband, Chris Crowell, is Senior Vice President of Southern Bank of Tennessee and has served as the Ward 4 Councilman for the City of Lebanon since 2016. Daughter, Maggie, is a graduate of Washington & Lee University, and son, Ethan, is a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Amanda is also an active member of Lebanon First United Methodist Church.
