Overview
Kayla Costley, Attorney was admitted to practice law in 2019. She grew up in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and graduated from Mount Juliet High School in 2010. From Middle Tennessee State University she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology with a minor in both Family Studies and Psychology. She graduated in 2014. Upon graduation, Kayla began working for a law firm in downtown Nashville. In the Summer of 2016, she joined Kane & Crowell, Attorneys At Law as a paralegal.
Kayla began her law school career in 2015 at the Nashville School of Law. She received a Juris Doctorate degree in 2019 where she graduated in the top 10 of her class.

Upon passing the Bar Exam and receiving her license to practice law, Kayla became an associate attorney at Kane & Crowell, Attorneys At Law. She primarily works with family law. In her practice she handles divorce, custody, paternity, alimony, child support, grandparent visitation, parental relocation, adoption, probate of estates and conservatorship and guardianships.

Kayla and team expedited getting my kids back in just a month after dropping my previous lawyer. It’s tough choosing who to hire to defend you and make sure you’re taken care due to financial reasons. Kayla will fight for everything that is asked. We are thankful to have found the best of the best in Angel, Kayla and team. Since our initial meeting, they have been in tune with our concerns, our worries, and catered to those throughout our entire experience. The type of representation that they uphold is far beyond any other practice. In our child custody case, Angel and Kayla were not only extremely knowledgeable, but highly sensitive to the fact that it was proving to be a traumatic and draining experience for all involved. Sometime ago, my wife and I attended a webinar on the importance of having updated wills and End-Of-Life documents. Given by Bryson Eubanks and Kayla Horvath of Kane & Crowell, the webinar was very well presented and provided much more than the typical "boiler plate" you might expect. Subsequently, we asked Kayla to help us update our wills, Health Care POAs, Financial POAs, etc. I can say unequivocally, that she exceeded every expectation we had. Kayla is extremely personable and approachable, and a joy to work with. She took the time to sit with us and get an understanding of precisely what we wanted to accomplish. She took copious notes at the meeting and made every effort to make the process flow smoothly. As a result of that meeting she produced draft documents that were nearly flawless. Ultimately Kayla, aided by the firm's paralegal Maryam Mikhail, provided us with a very thorough document package and an exceptional experience.
