A Will is Worth It

You may avoid getting a Last Will & Testament because it means you have to consider what will happen upon you die. Having a Will is Worth it because, it lets you say what happens to your assets after your death. And it will help your family avoid dealing with a mess.  Additionally, a Will allows you to name who will be in charge of administering your Estate upon your passing As well as pay your debts, collect assets owed to you, and distribute your property. If you do not have a Will, the Court will make the decision of who will administer your Estate and who receive your assets.

Putting Protections in Place

Having a Will is Worth it as it allows you to put protections in place for your minor children should you die. In your Will, you can name a Guardian for your minor children. Additionally, you can put protections in place for the property your minor children could inherit. Should you pass away without a Will, your minor children will have to follow a process, required by the Court. This will ensure they do not inherit your property until reaching a certain age.

A Will is Worth it as it provides your loved ones simple and direct guidance regarding your wishes. And will make things much easier for them upon your passing. Furthermore, it can help alleviate tension between family members during a difficult time. As having your wishes in writing helps your loved one avoid conflict, within your family.
